2008 Unified Track and Field Meet

Take the 30 day
Be A Fan Challenge

Are you ready to take the 30 day Be a Fan Challenge?

As part of the 2008 Special Olympics School Program Unifed Track and Field Meet, you are invited to be a part of our Be A Fan Challenge to sponsor a Special Olympics athlete for six months or an entire year. Your fundraising effort over the next 30 days will provide the necessary money for an athlete to receive free sports training and competition opportunities.

Please set a goal to raise $250 and sponsor an athlete for six months or raise $500 and sponsor an athlete for one full year! Once you reach your goal, we will send you’re a special edition of our Be A Fan T-shirt and you may even get a few letters from our athletes to really let you know how much they appreciate your support.

Now that you have met our athletes, we invite you to get your friends, family and colleagues involved with Special Olympics. Let them know what Special Olympics is all about and how good it feels to Be A Fan!

More than 1,500 Special Olympics athletes from Southern Nevada competed in the Meet on May 1 and May 2. They trained and competed side by side, special needs and peers, and will carry the experience for a lifetime. Special Olympics is a free year-round sports training and competition program for children and adults with developmental disabilities. We count on individuals and organizations to provide the much-needed resources to reach more individuals each year.
